Maxine Hunkel grew up idolizing the Justice Society, but even now that she has powers of her own, she doesn't feel that she measures up to those legends. However when people are in danger Maxine uses her powers to help. She impresses Hawkman enough for her to offer her a spot in the Justice Society, although she turns it down as she still doesn't feel worthy.
