The cover, rendered in a gritty, distressed retro-exploitation style by Valentine De Landro and Rian Hughes, depicts a group of fierce, shouting women surging forward with raised fists and raw energy, a male figure looming behind them. Kelly Sue DeConnick's sharp feminist sci-fi vision practically leaps off the page before you've even cracked the spine.
