Birds of Prey #4

Part of DC's New 52 relaunch, Birds of Prey #4 arrives in February 2012 with a cover by David Finch and Richard Friend that makes the team's expanding roster impossible to miss — the bold tagline "And Now… Batgirl!" says it all. Batgirl charges front and center in her sleek black-and-gold costume, flanked by Black Canary, the white-clad Katana, a heavily tattooed Starling brandishing a pistol, and Poison Ivy lurking amid the branches above. With Duane Swierczynski writing and Jesús Saiz on interior art, "Absolutely Mental" promises a team dynamic that's equal parts dangerous and compelling.
