Binky #73
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA "SCREECH!" sound effect says it all on Henry Scarpelli's cover for this 1970 DC teen comedy: a blonde girl in a red sports car has apparently just ejected Binky — still gripping the steering wheel — right off the vehicle, sending him tumbling onto the truck bed behind her. Meanwhile, a stylish dark-haired girl in a yellow minidress looks on from the sidewalk, utterly unfazed. It's a perfectly pitched slice of late-'60s teen humor, and with John Albano writing and Win Mortimer on interior art, "Lucky Binky!" promises exactly the kind of cheerful suburban chaos this series does so well.
