Billy the Kid #64

From Charlton Comics' long-running western series, this December 1967 issue drops Billy the Kid into a razor-sharp confrontation right on the cover — a bald, broad-shouldered opponent lunges at him with crossed blades while Billy stands his ground on a dusty frontier street, cool and ready. The cover banner teases "The Duel!" and asks whether Billy has finally met his match, setting up the tension nicely. José Delbo's crisp linework gives the scene real energy, and with Joe Gill scripting the interior tale "The Baroness and the Gunslinger," this is a solid entry in Charlton's western lineup.
