Richard Corben's cover for this third issue of IDW's Bigfoot series is a visceral, moonlit showdown — the massive, snarling creature looms against a full moon as it clutches a terrified woman whose tattered clothing speaks to a desperate struggle already underway. The collaboration between writers Steve Niles and Rob Zombie promises the kind of dark, unsettling horror that the image more than earns. If the series has been building dread issue by issue, this cover suggests things have taken a very bad turn.
