Steve Niles expands his frozen-horror universe with this 2007 IDW series opener, illustrated and painted entirely by Bill Sienkiewicz. The cover sets a genuinely unsettling tone: beneath a swirling aurora-lit Arctic sky streaked with blood spatters, two small silhouetted figures — one pursuing the other across a desolate snowscape — suggest a desperate chase in the endless dark.
