Lo Pan looms large on this cover, his eyes blazing with supernatural light and his ornate ceremonial robes and headdress rendered in striking detail — while a mysterious figure in the foreground fixes the viewer with an unsettling pale green eye and extends grasping, claw-like fingers. It's a genuinely eerie composition from cover artist Chamba that captures the sinister mysticism at the heart of this BOOM! Studios series. Fred Van Lente and Victor Santos continue their run on the beloved Big Trouble in Little China license with this 2016 issue, and if the cover is any indication, the ancient sorcery is running very hot indeed.
