One story follows a young boy named Philip who is homesick at scout camp; his father sends a telegram allowing him to stay longer, but the boy ultimately decides to return home, where he is joyfully reunited with his family and their beloved dog. Another story depicts a film production shoot in which a director orchestrates an elaborate romantic scene between actors, though the two performers actually despise each other despite their on-screen chemistry.
When Uncle Phil grudgingly agrees to take his nephew Sunny to Boy Scouts' camp, he's determined to leave after just dropping him off—but his plans change when he catches wind of the cook's scheme to scare him out of town with a fake bear. Armed with nothing but a baseball bat and his quick wits, Phil prepares a surprise of his own for the would-be prankster.
In "Ghosts!" a skeptical character finds himself the target of mischievous spirits who decide to teach him a lesson—and they've got a front-row seat to all the chaos they can cause. When he settles in for a quiet evening with his girlfriend and an unwanted rival, the supernatural pranksters seize the perfect moment to stir up trouble. It's a lighthearted romp that turns a cozy night decidedly upside down.
BO and his friend JUNIOR spend a few days on a farm, where BO finds himself jealous of all the attention the farm animals are getting—especially when JUNIOR successfully herds the cows home and bonds with the other creatures. When it's time to head back to the city, BO discovers that farm life, despite its quiet appeal, can't quite compete with the comfort of home and the devoted fussing of people who've missed him.
