This issue presents two main stories. The "Big Shot" story begins with a brawl between characters, after which one man receives a gift and later encounters a character named Knobby, whom he gives a job opportunity. The second story involves characters obtaining little pink elephants from a maharajah, which they attempt to hide in a box and deliver as a gift; the recipients promise not to drop in again. A separate narrative follows a man's attempts to collect payment from a patient, leading to a series of misunderstandings about who is responsible for paying the bill, ultimately resolved when the man agrees to settle the account discreetly.
