They enlist his help to test a new rocket prototype, leading him to free the Hulk—only to reveal it’s a trap orchestrated by General Ross. As Rick tries to intervene, he’s struck by a blast, and when he returns to Earth, the Hulk attacks him. But in a startling twist, Rick discovers he can somehow control the beast—until he loses that control the moment he sleeps. The story, written by Stan Lee and Enrique Joga, features iconic art by Jack Kirby with inks by Dick Ayers, and a cover by Kirby himself.

Hulk se encuentra encerrado en el bunker creado por Bruce Banner. Mientras, Rick Jones busca un lugar donde descansar y es atrapado por el ejército, que le pide la ayuda de Hulk para probar un nuevo prototipo de cohete. Rick Jones accede, libera a Hulk y le atrae hasta el cohete. Una vez dentro, se descubre que todo es una trampa del General Ross para librarse de Hulk.
