Biblioteca Marvel #4
This inaugural volume of Panini España's Biblioteca Marvel series collects the earliest adventures of Spider-Man, beginning with his landmark debut in Amazing Fantasy #15 (1962) and continuing through the first four issues of his own ongoing series, The Amazing Spider-Man #1-4 (1963). These stories, written by Stan Lee with art by Steve Ditko, establish Peter Parker's origin, his iconic rogues' gallery, and the personal struggles that define the character. The collection offers Spanish readers a foundational look at the birth of one of Marvel's most enduring heroes.
In "¡Spiderman!", Peter Parker’s secret identity hangs in the balance when a fight with the Sandman causes his mask to tear—forcing him to flee to protect his civilian life. Later, the Sandman, evading police, takes refuge in Peter’s high school, leading to a tense showdown that ends with Spiderman emerging victorious. Written by Stan Lee and Santiago García, with art by Steve Ditko and colors by Stan Goldberg, this 2023 Panini España release features a striking cover by Steve Ditko.
