Beyond Avalon #2

The second chapter of "Wanderlust" arrives with a cover by Goran Sudzuka that sets an urgent, mythic tone — a blonde warrior woman in armor strides forward with sword drawn, her cape billowing dramatically, while a dark-haired man in simple clothes rushes close behind her through a shadowy stone passage. Joe Pruett and Sudzuka's Arthurian-flavored fantasy series, published through Image's Desperado imprint in 2005, already feels like it's building toward something compelling. If this cover is any indication, the series wears its adventurous spirit confidently and well.
