This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "The Unlucky 13th," in which a newlywed couple inherits a house from Aunt Hannah as a wedding gift and discovers it possesses strange, living qualities that cause peculiar domestic phenomena; and "The Man in Black," in which aspiring writer Paul Travis comes to New York seeking literary success but struggles to complete his novel, only to have his work repeatedly sabotaged by mysterious supernatural interference from a sinister figure in black. The issue also includes advertisements for mail-order novelty items such as a Jetex jet-powered model airplane and a Hip Pocket Gym exercise system.
