Cover art by Dan DeCarlo and Alison Flood sets a wonderfully comic tone: a frustrated Veronica stands in what appears to be a kitchen, clutching flowers and a bowling ball with an expression of pure exasperation, while a sympathetic Betty gestures toward her with the deadpan reminder that knocking down one pin in ten games is no reason to lose heart. At 256 pages, this 1992 digest packs in a tremendous amount of Riverdale fun — including the story "The Write Thing" — making it a satisfying read for fans of Betty and Veronica's always-entertaining friendship and rivalry.
