Betty and Veronica #202
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBetty and Veronica turn patriotism into performance art in this 2004 Archie Comics issue, as the cover shows Betty, Veronica, and a third friend dressed head-to-toe in American flag-print outfits, cheerfully announcing to a surprised onlooker at a Patriotic Poster Contest table that they'd like to submit a "live patriotic poster." Jeff Shultz (pencils) and Henry Scarpelli (inks) give the scene a bright, spirited energy, with the Constitution scroll on the table adding a nice touch of civic flair. It's a fun, lighthearted setup that captures exactly the kind of clever, good-natured humor that has always made this title such an enjoyable read.
