Set in a cheerful soda-fountain diner, this March 1976 issue of Betty and Me captures a perfectly timed gag: a grumpy counter man grumbles "Nothing is as cheap as it used to be!" while Betty gleefully points to the menu and shoots back "Archie is!" — with a bemused blonde friend looking on.
