Vanya is an operative for the Polish underground helping smuggle children to the Allies. She is working at Nazi headquarters as secretary for her new boss Captain Kurt Helgar and supplies information to the underground. The last movement of children is to take place but one is sick so they have to call a doctor who must report it. They have to move quickly and take all the children. The Nazis are after them in a boat but another boat approaches and rams the Nazis. It is Pegley. They bring him on board and discover that it is Kurt. Vanya and Kurt go to America and live happily ever after
