Written by Ennis with art by Russ Braun, Happy Valley explores the brutality of combat and the resilience of those caught in its midst, offering a grimly human perspective on a often-overlooked conflict.
In "From a Land Down Under," Garth Ennis and P. J. Holden deliver a gripping wartime tale centered on Harding, a gifted but untested pilot thrust into command of a bomber crew nearing the end of their tour. When an inexperienced flyer joins the group, their fear and resentment turn to awe after he pulls off daring maneuvers under fire, proving his mettle in the skies over Europe. The cover by Garry Leach captures the tension and grit of the mission, setting the stage for a story rooted in courage and camaraderie.
