"The One They Overlooked" follows an American military company that encounters an enemy tank during combat and must devise a strategy to stop it, discovering an unconventional weakness that allows them to destroy the vehicle. The issue also includes a text feature detailing the PATA (Plenum Air Tired Amphibian) vehicle being developed by the Army, describing its design specifications and capabilities for amphibious resupply and combat operations. A second story, "New Dog Old Tricks," depicts Sergeant Ed Jenks and his unit discovering an innovative tactical use for a captured German Jeep equipped with a new Greenhorn C, demonstrating creative warfare tactics against the enemy.
