# Battlefield Action #41 The issue's main story, "The Flaming Valu," depicts American soldiers led by Captain Leeswald confronting Nazi troops who have occupied a strategically important hill. After Nazi soldiers enter the town and snarl the roads, three Americans are trapped by the German advance. The Americans plan to make a patrol around the back of the hill to scout the Nazi positions and launch a counter-attack. The soldiers engage the enemy forces in combat, culminating in an explosive clash marked by the sound effect "WHAMM."
