This November 1954 Atlas war anthology brings an intense, up-close cover by Harry Anderson — two camouflage-helmeted soldiers move through dense foliage, one leveling a pistol directly at the reader while his partner peers through binoculars, the pair radiating focused, dangerous calm. Inside, writer Colin Dawkins and artist John Severin (who also handles inking) deliver stories including "Prelude to Invasion," with lettering by Ben Oda rounding out a strong creative team. A solid slice of mid-'50s combat comics at its ten-cent best.
