Batman vs. Bigby! A Wolf in Gotham #6

The finale of this DC Black Label miniseries arrives with a cover by Yanick Paquette that says everything about the collision at its heart: a snarling, red-eyed Bigby Wolf looms in werewolf form above a determined Batman, while a robed figure reading from a candlelit book occupies the shadowy background, hinting at darker forces in play. The lurid orange sky and splashes of acid green give the whole composition a gothic-fairy-tale energy that feels perfectly suited to Bill Willingham's Fables roots. With Brian Level on interior art and Willingham scripting "Chapter Six: Wild Animals," this closing chapter of A Wolf in Gotham promises a satisfying payoff to one of DC's more imaginatively offbeat crossovers.
