“Part 4 Blur”

The penultimate chapter of this five-part DC miniseries brings writer Doug Moench and cover artist Kelley Jones together for one of 2010's more atmospheric Batman confrontations. Jones's cover captures the Dark Knight crouched low across a Gotham rooftop, his enormous cape billowing dramatically while coils of grapple line float eerily through the air — the bat-signal blazing behind him and the barely-visible outline of an invisible adversary making the scene genuinely unsettling. With the cover blurb promising "The Dark Knight Detective vs. The Invisible Man," this fourth issue sets the stage for what looks like a tense, shadowy showdown unlike most in Batman's rogues gallery.
