Batman: The Adventures Continue Season One #[nn]
In "Hardware," the Ventriloquist and Scarface—once inseparable partners in crime—find themselves separated after a failed heist, each undergoing therapy at Arkham Asylum. Months later, Arnold Wesker seems transformed, seemingly cured, but as Harley Quinn prepares a lavish Christmas party for Gotham’s rogues, the Joker quietly plots to reignite the duo’s dark partnership. Written by Alan Burnett and Paul Dini, with art by Ty Templeton and inks by Sean Parsons, this story blends psychological tension with the eerie intimacy of a fractured mind, all rendered in Monica Kubina’s vivid colors and AndWorld Design’s sharp lettering. The cover by Dave Johnson captures the unsettling stillness of a man on the edge, just before the mask slips.
