In Metropolis, Superman battles the Unknown Wizard, who is really Lex Luthor, who attacks the unveiling of a new power source that was developed by Dr. Martha Wayne. Meanwhile in Gotham City, Batman and Robin battle the Spider Lady who helps the Joker and Penguin to escape from Arkham, and who warns Batman about the shady activities of Arkham's warden, who has in his possession a rocket ship from Krypton with a dead infant skeleton inside.
