This Elseworlds tale reimagines the Batman mythos through the lens of German Expressionist cinema, specifically F.W. Murnau's classic vampire film Nosferatu. In this dark, gothic alternate reality, a plague-ridden Gotham City is terrorized by a monstrous, rat-like creature that stalks the night, forcing a hunchbacked, bat-like Bruce Wayne to confront a horror far removed from the traditional Joker or Ra's al Ghul.
