Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #213

Batman looms over a gargoyle-flanked ledge, cape spread wide against a moonlit sky, every inch the brooding guardian of Gotham — and Walter Simonson's cover art gives the Dark Knight a commanding, almost architectural presence that feels perfectly at home in this long-running anthology series. Issue #213 brings a new story, "Otaku," to Legends of the Dark Knight in 2007, with interior work by writer Matt Wayne and artist Steven Cummings. It's a great-looking package that captures exactly why this title kept readers coming back.
