Batman Confidential #3

Part three of Andy Diggle's "Rules of Engagement" arc finds Batman looming over a fiery Gotham City skyline, cape torn and expression fierce — a Dark Knight clearly pushed to his limits. The cover tagline "Gotham City in the Balance!" frames the urgency perfectly, with Whilce Portacio and Richard Friend delivering a striking image of raw determination against a crimson horizon. It's a compelling 2007 entry in this series that makes it very easy to turn the page.
