Batman - Année 100 #[nn]
Paul Pope's scratchy, kinetic linework is on full display in this 2016 Urban Comics French-language edition, where a battered, determined Batman — cape billowing, costume torn and bloodied, goggles fixed forward — lunges across what appears to be a graffiti-covered rail car in the rain. The image crackles with raw physicality: this is a Dark Knight stripped of polish, fighting through exhaustion on pure will. Colored by James Jean, the muted greens and deep reds give the whole cover a gritty, dystopian weight that perfectly suits the "Année 100" setting.
