Batman and the Outsiders #30

Part three of "The Truth About Looker" arrives in this February 1986 installment, subtitled "Transfiguration!" — and Alan Davis's cover makes the stakes feel immediate. Batman, Robin, Katana, Geo-Force, and Halo are gathered in a tense semicircle, all eyes fixed on a luminous orb where a figure — Looker herself — appears suspended in a crackling transformation. Opposite them stands a pink-and-black-costumed antagonist with arms outstretched, and the whole scene crackles with the sense that something irreversible is about to happen to one of the Outsiders' own.
