Batman and Robin #39

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, this April 2015 installment of Batman and Robin promises something a little different for the Dynamic Duo. The cover by Patrick Gleason and Mick Gray is a wonderfully chaotic scene set in the Batcave: Batman rides atop a swooping Batmobile while a caped Robin flies freely through the cavern air alongside Ace the Bat-Hound, as a wide-eyed, clearly overwhelmed man in a suit clutches his head in the foreground near a smoldering pile of gadgetry. With the story titled "Superpower — Boy Wonder," this Peter J. Tomasi–written issue looks like a gleefully energetic chapter exploring what happens when Damian Wayne's abilities take an unexpected turn.
