Batman Album #6
Batman Album #6 (1990) features a story titled "Das zweite Jahr, Kapitel 3: Tödliche Freunde," written by Mike W. Barr and Hajo F. Breuer, with art by Todd McFarlane, inks by Alfredo Alcala, colors by Adrienne Roy, and letters by Günter Bügge. The issue includes appearances by Alfred Pennyworth, Batman, Bruce Wayne, and James Gordon. The cover, penciled by Todd McFarlane and inked by Pablo Marcos, presents a striking image of the characters in a dramatic scene.
In "Das zweite Jahr, Kapitel 3: Tödliche Freunde," Batman and Joe Chill, bound by a past they can't escape, set a deadly trap for the Reaper using the very gun that took Batman’s parents. As the plan unfolds, the tension mounts between two men shaped by violence—one seeking justice, the other haunted by guilt—while the Reaper slips through their grasp once more.
In "Das zweite Jahr, Kapitel 4: Mögest du schneiden," Bruce Wayne’s proposal to Rachel takes a violent turn when the Reaper strikes during a meeting of mob bosses. Batman arrives too late to stop the attack, leaving Joe Chill unconscious—only to confront the man who killed his parents in a brutal reckoning. As the past and present collide in the alley where the Waynes fell, the Reaper’s final act sets off a chain of consequences that will echo through Gotham’s shadows.
