Batman #86
In "La telaraña de el Rotor," a 1960 Batman tale written by Jerry Coleman and illustrated by Dick Sprang with inks by Charles Paris, Merriweather Jones begins experiencing eerie premonitions of crime—premonitions that turn out to be terrifyingly accurate. As both the police and a gang of crooks suspect him of being involved, Batman and Robin must protect him while proving his innocence. The cover by Sheldon Moldoff captures the tension with a striking image of the Dark Knight in action.
In "La telaraña de el Rotor," Batman and Robin track the elusive criminal known as the Rotor, while Batimujer investigates a mystic suspected of running a scam. When she uncovers a clue left behind by the mystic that points directly to the Rotor, the two heroes’ paths unexpectedly converge in a mystery that ties their investigations together.
In "El amigo de Ricardo Tapia," Batman and Robin race to clear Sando the Strongman—Dick Grayson’s childhood guardian and a trusted friend of the Grayson family—of a theft he didn’t commit, when stolen goods turn up in his quarters. With no time to spare, the Dynamic Duo must untangle a web of suspicion before justice is wrongfully served.
In "null," Merriweather Jones finds himself haunted by sudden, eerie flashes of crime before they happen—flashes that prove all too real. As police grow suspicious and criminals see him as a key to stealing from their rivals, Batman and Robin must protect him while proving his innocence.
