Batman '66 Meets the Man from U.N.C.L.E. #1
Two of the coolest franchises of the 1960s come together in this first issue of a six-part series, subtitled "The Batman Affair." Michael Allred's cover sets the tone perfectly: a dynamic, colorfully rendered Batman swings into action against a bold golden-and-purple backdrop dominated by a globe emblem, while a sharp-suited secret agent rendered in silhouette levels a pistol in the foreground. With writer Jeff Parker, artist David Hahn, and inker Karl Kesel handling the interior, this 2016 DC Comics crossover looks every bit as stylish as the TV era that inspired it.
