In "The Death of Batman!", Bruce Wayne finds himself targeted by a ruthless plot that turns the boardroom of the International Chemical Company into a deadly stage. With the lives of his allies — Robin, Commissioner Gordon, and others — hanging in the balance, Batman must unravel a conspiracy that pits him against a trio of sinister villains, each with their own motive to see him dead.

In "The Flying Bat-Cave!", Batman and Robin face off against the cunning duo of Big-Time Gateson and Diamond Lang when the villains kidnap Robin and force Batman to stay out of Gotham for a week. With his back against the wall, Batman surprises them all by building a flying Bat-Cave, turning the skies into his new battlefield and launching a daring campaign to stop crime from above.
