Batman #313

Batman #313 brings together the Dark Knight and one of Gotham's most compelling villains for a July 1979 showdown. José Luis García-López's cover captures a tense scene inside a ransacked room: Two-Face sits coolly in the foreground, his dual visage on full display, while Batman looms behind him in a ready crouch — the cover copy promising that "the scarred side of the coin has come up" and Two-Face strikes "twice as deadly as before." Len Wein and Irv Novick deliver the interior goods on a story titled "Two for the Money!" that looks every bit as charged as that striking cover image.
