“Divergence Bat-Mite”
About this Collection

This collection brings together the 2016 Bat-Mite miniseries, a lighthearted and metafictional romp through the DC Universe. The mischievous imp from the Fifth Dimension attempts to prove he's Batman's greatest fan by inserting himself into the Dark Knight's adventures, leading to chaotic encounters with allies like Robin and Booster Gold, as well as foes such as the Joker. The series blends humor with superhero action, showcasing Bat-Mite's well-meaning but disastrous attempts to help his idol.

In "Divergence Bat-Mite," the mischievous dimension-hopping imp finds himself caught between worlds after being exiled, only to get pulled into a dangerous game when Batman takes down a group of kidnappers—only for Bat-Mite to be snatched by the enigmatic Doctor Trauma. With her latest experiment involving brain transplants underway, Trauma sets her sights on Hawkman’s body, unaware of just how unpredictable her new guest might be. Written by Dan Jurgens and brought to life by Corin Howell’s dynamic art and inks, with colors by Mike Atiyeh and letters by Tom Napolitano, this 2016 issue features a cover by Corin Howell.
