Charlton's 1973 Hanna-Barbera series puts the Rubbles front and center in this cheerful slice of Stone Age domestic life. The cover sets a wonderfully chaotic tone: Barney is sprawled in a hammock getting splashed while Betty looks on in exasperation, and little Bamm-Bamm grins mischievously at the bottom, clearly the source of the trouble. It's a perfectly charming snapshot of the family's good-natured mayhem, and the story title "A New Hat For Barney!" promises more prehistoric fun within.
