Issue seven of Marvel's Barbie series arrives in July 1991 with one of the most sun-drenched covers in the run — Barbie strolls confidently along a tropical shoreline in a floral pink swimsuit, a hibiscus tucked in her wind-tossed blonde hair, with palm trees silhouetted against a brilliant sunrise behind her. Inside, the story "Oui, Oui, C'est Paris!" trades the beach for the City of Light, promising a delightful change of scenery. It's a cheerful, well-crafted package from a creative team that includes artist Amanda Conner, inker Andy Mushynsky, and letterers Janice Chiang and George Roberts.
