In "Katten Janson som maler," a mischievous mouse takes advantage of a sleepy cat’s nap to paint bold yellow stripes on him, turning the unsuspecting feline into a zoo attraction. When Katten Jansson is captured and locked in a tiger enclosure, the clever mouse must come up with a plan to help him escape.

Skallmann blir nattvakt på banken, men när han somnar nyttjar Vargen, Knocke och Smocke chansen att bryta sig in. När han vaknar och upptäcker inbrottet får han en genial idé – med hjälp av en ny uppfinning, ett spårande rep, tar han efter skurkarna i fullt lopp.
