In a dusty frontier saloon, young Lille Skutt sips lemonade when a gang of rowdy cowboys challenges him to a sharpshooting contest. With a calm focus that surprises everyone, he hits the bullseye—leaving the crowd amazed, though no one notices that it was actually Bamse who pulled the trigger.

In "Bamse röker fredspipa," Bamse comes to the aid of an Indian chief whose horse has fallen into a ditch, earning a surprising reward: the chance to smoke a ceremonial peace pipe alongside Lille Skutt. But what starts as a moment of friendship quickly takes a turn when both friends begin to feel unwell from the smoke.
