Bamse, Skalman och Lille Skutt hälsar på Morbror Grizzly i vilda västern. Katten Jansson och Husmusen tjuvåker med. I vilda västern härjar Vilde Ville och hans rövare. Rövarna skjuter sönder några av Bamses honungsburkar och resten ramlar ner i en ravin. Vilde Ville fångar Bamse och Lille Skutt och tvingar Bamse att springa efter en häst. Skalman, som har sovit under tiden, hämtar honungsburkarna och lyckas få lite honung till Bamse. Bamse övermannar rövarna och de buras in.
