In "Skallmann's ismaskin," Skalman’s latest invention—a machine that turns sticks and paper straws into ice cream—draws the attention of a greedy fox who steals it, only to get stuck with his nose in the gears. When Bamse tracks down the thief, he returns the machine, but Skalman refuses to take it back, leaving the fox to smash the contraption just to free himself.

Lille Skutt, a small and timid rabbit, is teased for being afraid—until a clumsy stumble sends him tumbling down a steep slope and landing right on a robber’s head, knocking him out cold. The unexpected accident spreads fast, turning the once-ridiculed rabbit into a local hero, much to everyone’s surprise.

In "Skallmanns tidsmaskin," Skalman, Bamse, and Lille Skutt journey 75 million years back in time using a time machine Skalman built, encountering a variety of dinosaurs in the prehistoric world. As they explore, a Pteranodon makes off with Skalman, while a Tyrannosaurus Rex devours all of Bamse’s prized honey.
