Ballistic #3
Issue three of Image's Ballistic features a stunning cover by Michael Turner (pencils) and D-Tron (inks) that showcases a lithe, otherworldly female figure wreathed in long, flowing ribbons of teal energy, her arms raised dramatically against a glowing stained-glass arch. The warm amber backlight and swirling organic tendrils give the image an almost ethereal, art-nouveau quality that sets it apart from typical 1995 superhero fare. With Wetworks also featured and the creative team of Haberlin and Wohl at the helm, this is a compelling chapter in one of Image's more stylishly designed titles of the era.
