Back to the Future #11

IDW's Back to the Future #11 brings "Continuum Conundrum, Part 6" to a head with a cover — penciled and inked by Marcelo Ferreira — that crackles with tension: a helmeted, badge-wearing officer dominates the foreground, "SPEEDING" ticket device in hand, while behind him a panicked Marty McFly and a wide-eyed Doc Brown scramble in front of a crashed vehicle, flying cars streaking through a purple Hill Valley sky overhead. The Hill Valley sign in the background confirms we're deep in future-timeline trouble, and the chaos radiating off every corner of the image suggests writers Bob Gale and John Barber have pushed their time-hopping heroes into a very tight corner. It's a fun, polished installment in one of 2016's most enthusiastic comics adaptations of the beloved franchise.
