Babylon Cove #1

Mad Cave Studios launches Babylon Cove with a cover that perfectly sets the tone: a cheerful young woman clutches a strange idol and beams at a "Welcome to Babylon Cove" sign, blissfully unaware of the grinning, pointed-eared figure looming behind her — hands clasped with unmistakable menace — while a bearded man and a younger companion look on from the shadows of a massive skull. Writer Rafer Roberts and artist Joe Eisma (who also handles the inks, with colors by Marissa Louise) bring a delightful collision of small-town charm and creeping supernatural dread to this opening chapter. If this cover is any indication, Babylon Cove is shaping up to be one of 2026's most intriguing new series.
