At a school assembly, Mr. Weatherbee introduces Jennifer Sparks, a famous movie writer and director, and who also happens to be a Riverdale High graduate. She's there to create a new movie called "Riverdale High-- The Musical". Veronica and Betty both get parts as extras in the movie. The girls also meet the three lead actors of the movie. Jennifer then recognizes Veronica's last name and remembers a romantic triangle from her Riverdale High days.
