Aventura #134
In "El huérfano," Sgt. Preston’s life hangs in the balance after a snowslide strands him in the frozen wilderness, only to be rescued by a mysterious man who hides his identity behind a quiet kindness. When Preston later returns to track down the outlaw Buck Croyden—now revealed as a killer and thief—his past act of mercy becomes a quiet echo in a story of betrayal and gold. Written by Gaylord Du Bois and illustrated by Alberto Giolitti, with a striking cover by Morris Gollub, this 1960 issue delivers a taut, character-driven tale set in the harsh beauty of the Yukon.
