The Avengers decide to disband the West Coast branch and put its members on the reserve list until their status can be re-evaluated. Led by Iron Man, most of the AWC quit the Avengers and take off. Missing from the meeting, Wonder Man makes his way back to the Avengers' California compound only to be told that his team no longer exists.
