With Deathlok securing twelve million from a bank and the Mighty Avengers distracted by a Venom bomb, the Hood sets his sights on his next move—calculating, dangerous, and escalating.

In "The Trust (Part Five)," with his teammates compromised by alien symbiotes, Luke Cage joins the Mighty Avengers in a desperate fight to save New York after Dr. Doom unleashes a venom bomb. As the city burns, Wolverine storms Avengers Tower, confronting Spider-Woman about her decision to hand over the Skrull Elektra’s body to Tony Stark, while the New Avengers close in on The Hood and his crew, now holed up with their ill-gotten gains—armed with a supernatural army summoned by Dr. Strange.
